Hey everyone! This post is my first style post! I wanted to kick things off with an outfit for Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day outfits always fall under the category of red, pink, and hearts . I love dressing up in theme for any holiday but sometimes it can be overkill. An outfit for Valentine’s day doesn’t have to be head to toe red, pink, and hearts, unless you are trying to win an costume contest. Pick something you want to wear that is Valentine’s themed and balance it.
First I started with an adorable heart printed sweater. The black and white is something unexpected for an outfit for Valentine’s Day but I like different. Then I built my outfit around the sweater. I was going for a causal look so I knew I wanted jeans. Because it is a Valentine’s Day outfit, I chose one of the holiday’s colors – pink. I went with a rose/ light pink Levi’s jeans. I finished my look with some pretty, black, slip on flats with a little glitter. The heart shaped sunglasses gave it a cute and final touch for a Valentine’ Day outfit. These pieces allow me to mix them into my wardrobe and transition them from an outfit for Valentine’s Day.
Fair warning though – If you’re interested in buying the sunglasses and sweater, you gotta grab it quick ladies :). I have learned that Forever 21 moves their merchandise pretty fast online and in stores. The sweater did fit more as a crop top style on me so I chose to have the under shirt but you can certainly wear just the sweater alone too. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post and the pics.
