Plaid is such a classic and timeless staple for Fall but how can you make a plaid boyfriend shirt look feminine? Read more on today’s style post.
I love plaid for Fall and so does a whole lot of people. There’s something about plaid that screams Fall. Plaid is Americana and usually has more of the jewel tones or darker colors that make up Fall colors. Plaid can be dressed up like the post I did this week with a more work or dinner ready plaid skirt here. My boyfriend plaid shirt today is perfect for apple picking. Since apple picking is an everyday thing right lol but this outfit is perfect for any casual outing.
When we were in Vermont, we did go apple picking. Yes I took these photos but I actually spent a lot of time at this farm. It was peaceful. But it really was super windy that day so I’m surprised I had some shots were my hair wasn’t straight up in the air. Anyways, I love the colors of my plaid boyfriend shirt. It is perfect with jeans and my super comfortable riding boots. But it’s great for work as well. In fact, I have paired it with my black or maroon dress pants and it’s perfect for the office. I have found that just adding some simple jewelry and some great lipstick and handbag makes this look feminine without being unpractical. The shirt comes in different colors so there are plenty of options to play with the colors and make different outfits. For styling, I knotted it at the bottom.
I hope you enjoy these photos from Vermont. I will be doing a travel recap of the trip hopefully next week! Stay tuned!
