Today’s Tuesday Treat is a classic Red Sweater for Fall. Read more from today’s blog post on location from Vermont.
During Fall, stores tend to carry a lot of burgundy or neutral colored sweater but they tend to forget about red sweaters. I was looking all over for a good red sweater and found this one. I think red is underrated for Fall. Red is everywhere for winter but it’s also a great Fall Sweater color especially with the right Fall accessories. Perfect Fall accessories to pair with red sweaters are plaid or flannel print scarves and of course booties. By the way my reversible scarf is so versatile and a must have for Fall and winter wardrobe.
What I love about red sweaters in general is that it’s a statement piece in itself. There’s not much you need to do when you’re wearing red. But I chose to stick with neutral black for shoes and handbag with this look. But you could mix it up with lighter denim jeans or layer the sweater with a denim jacket. You could also go with more brown colors for your handbag and booties. Red is a super easy color to style without much thought for real. It’s the power of red I guess.
Side note we wander all over Stowe Vermont so she actually have 3 different sets of photo for this outfit. We went exploring and just kept taking photos everywhere because everything was so beautiful there. Even though I don’t post every from any vacation I go to, I love having the memories of going back to that place just by scrolling through photos! Do you feel that way to with photos? Photos just take you back sometimes!
