Happy weekend! Today I am sharing a beautiful Plum Skater Dress and how you can style it for Winter!
Are you into dresses like I am but struggle to wear them in Winter? Winter weather makes it hard to wear dresses even sweaters dresses. That’s the only thing I don’t like about Winter. But layering when you layer the right way, you can stay warm and cozy. My plum skater dress I styled in this post was taken in 20’s degree weather. The dress is not sweater material but when I styled it together, it worked for Houston winter lol.
When I was online shopping the other day, I was looking for a dress that I could wear now and I could also not sweat inside. I loved this dress right away. The plum color is so beautiful!! The wrap and clinched waist won me over. The length is perfect as well. It is work appropriate and perfect for dinner for church. I paired it with my favorite trench coat of the season to make it winter weather appropriate!
The best way to style a dress for winter besides adding a coat is to add some over the knee boots. You can keep your legs warm this way and plus it’s a very cute look. Add some tights or leggings underneath for extra warmth.
