Happy Friday! Are you ready for Christmas? I wanted to share a rare Friday post before I wind down the blog for Christmas. Today I am sharing a beautiful Crimson Plaid Coat.
This fall/winter season I really wanted to invest in some good quality coats like this one and this one. I was randomly looking at different sites and came across this gorgeous Crimson Plaid Coat. I screenshot it and didn’t order it right away. But I kept thinking about and I knew if I waited too long, it would sell out. I’m really glad I got this coat. In the back of my mind, I was hoping it was as beautiful in person as it looked online. It really is just as beautiful in person. It is a very popular coat so I linked 3 retailers so you can grab your size. I will say that one of the images from one online retailer makes it look very faded honestly lol. That is not the case at all. It is a classy and beautiful crimson plaid coat.
There’s a lot of ways you can style this coat. You could style it with winter white or navy underneath to bring out the color in the coat. Classic black turtleneck or sweater would look good. This coat would be great over a sweater dress too. I would not recommend any red or pink colors that would compete with the crimson color of the coat. The turtleneck I paired it with is thin. But then I remembered it is not a turtleneck sweater so it’s more of a tee material. So I personally would not recommend wearing it alone but it is good for layering. I sized up one automatically since Topshop tops run small and then sized up again for a looser fit that doesn’t fit exact on my chest. You know what I’m saying?
